Although I love the Chanel classic bag, you do not need to spend an arm and a leg to own a classic bag. One of the reasons I love the Chanel bag is that over time it has actually increased in value. Whereas other bags tend to lose value over time. If you are looking to stay within a certain budget, simply opt for a black bag with either silver or gold detail. If you want to get that Chanel vibe, look for quilted black bags.

A good wool coat will not only keep you warm, but it will also keep you stylish for years to come. Because this is a piece I reach for almost every day during the fall season, I would opt to invest in an item like this. You can definitely get away with a budget option but keep in mind that you will need a bigger size. That way, you can layer underneath to compensate for what may not be as warm of a fabric.
3. Leather Jacket
Whenever I wear my leather jacket, I feel like I belong on a motorcycle. It makes me feel like a true baddy. While I opt for classic neutral colors nowadays for most of my items, I do have a couple of colorful leather jackets. It is advisable to invest in a piece like this. Undoubtedly leggings are essential. Faux leather leggings are an autumn wardrobe essential. They are a great way to elevate a plain outfit. You can dress these down with some sneakers or dress them up with some over-the-knee boots.
7. Boots and Booties
Year after year I reach for my over-the-knee boots. While OTK boots may not always be on trend, they are most definitely a classic piece. There is nothing more classic than a sweater dress with over-the-knee boots and a wool coat. Pair that with a classic bag and you will be complimented on your style left and right.
